We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager to help us with our next phase of growth and to craft compelling content about our solutions, our projects and technologies, and our values.
You should have attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into a story that resonates with our target customer through content creation. You have a talent for maintaining a steady drumbeat of content production, switching quickly between learning and creating.
You know words are only part of the story and are adept at combining text with visuals and other media.
You are eager to dive into a complex space and shape the way people see and hear our product promise through content that attracts, inspires, educates, and engages our target markets.
— Develop a content program. From ideation to final delivery you will work alongside internal partners to develop a content marketing strategy and editorial plan that aligns with and supports business objectives.
— Fill the funnel. Write compelling copy that drives action in a variety of mediums and formats (website, blogs, social media, collateral, presentations, video, email, infographics, press releases and more).
— Sales enablement collateral. Produce a variety of “sales enablement” content, including case studies, email sequences, whitepapers, reports, landing pages and knowledge hub to help move the sales team move leads down the funnel faster and close bigger deals.
— Social media. Track breaking news and social conversation to generate highly relevant storylines that address audiences’ real-time interests.
— Reporting & Measurement. Analyze content performance and lifecycle, and use data to iterate, improve and maximize results.
— Growth. Determine both new content needs and opportunities to repurpose existing content. Interview and develop relationships with spokespeople, customers and other subject-matter experts.
Skills and qualifications
— Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, PR, Communications, Marketing or equivalent work experience
— 1-2 years of content marketing experience
— Excellent written, SEO-optimized and oral communications
— Technologically savvy and should be proficient in multi-channel marketing platforms, search engine optimization (any of the listed is a plus: WordPress, Content Management Systems, Adobe Design Suite, HTML Code, Google Analytics)
— Ability to analyze content marketing performance data and develop recommendations and improvements to marketing programs
— Understanding good design and experience working with graphic designers to create visuals that support your content’s messaging.
— Experience using social media creatively to promote your content, build a community, and extend your company’s brand. Bonus points if you’ve created content for a software or tech company.
— You’re passionate about B2B audiences and technology. Bonus if you’re interested and are familiar with Fintech.
