Credo Bank has launched Apple Pay contactless payments for Credo Bank Mastercard card holders, with Pri-Num’s help.
With the launch of Apple Pay, bank customers will be able to use their Apple devices to make simple and secure payments everywhere Mastercard is accepted.
Apple Pay is a contactless payment technology that is revolutionizing the mobile payment marketplace with speed, security, and convenience. With Apple Pay, purchases can be paid quickly, using only an Apple device, always at hand.
Apple Pay is a secure payment method that does not store card information on your mobile device, Apple servers, or devices.
Instead, when you enter Mastercard data, a 16-digit token is generated for each device: such as mobile phones, tablets, and watches. It is this token that is used when processing transactions.
Now, with Apple Pay, Credo Bank customers can eliminate the need to carry a card, wallet, or enter billing information and fill out lengthy payment forms.
To pay online, in store, or in transport, you only need your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or other Apple device.
In order to use Apple Pay, Credo Bank customers only need to add their cards to Apple Wallet on their phones.
Only FaceID or TouchID will need to be used to confirm subsequent payments.
Pri-Num led the implementation of the Apple Pay solution for Mastercard alongside the Credo Bank and Mastercard teams.
The solution was based on Pri-Num’s secure and scalable Digital Enablement Platform™, a solution that enables the rapid deployment of a range of card and transactions-based digital and mobile services.
