Pri-Num has successfully launched Apple Pay for Ipak Yuli Bank in Uzbekistan, making the service available to the bank’s Visa and Mastercard cardholders.

Ipak Yuli Bank customers can now add eligible cards to Apple Wallet and use Apple Pay for contactless payments in stores, as well as online and in apps, on iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac.

The implementation is powered by Pri-Num’s Issuer Tokenization Solution (ITS), which enables banks to securely digitize payment cards and provision them to digital wallets. The platform supports integration with international payment schemes and provides centralized token lifecycle management.

Apple Pay uses tokenization to protect card information during transactions. Actual card numbers are not shared with merchants, and each payment is authenticated using the device’s security features.

With this launch, Pri-Num continues to expand its Apple Pay implementation portfolio in Central Asia, supporting banks in introducing digital wallet services for their customers.
